Christmas 2020 at St. Mary Magdalene

Due to the current Coronavirus situation, we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel some Advent and Christmas services at St. Mary Magdalene.

Our COVID-19 Precautions Policy

Please note the following:

•  The church will continue to be open every day for private prayer from 9am until dusk.

•  From Monday 14th, our Nativity Crib and Christmas tree will be on display until after Epiphany Sunday (3rd Jan) with carols playing in the background. Please call in for a few minutes contemplation and encourage the children to accompany you.

•  There will not be a Carol Service or Crib Service on Sunday 20th and Christmas Eve afternoon respectively as we will be unable to accommodate everyone due to social distancing regulations.

•  There will be no Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.

•  Christmas Day - Eucharist at 9.30am with recorded carols will be ticketed on a ‘first come – first served’ basis as we have limited seating available. Please email Susan Ayres if you wish to attend -  susanayres1@gmail.com

•  Sunday 27th - Said BCP Eucharist at 11:00am. Those who wish to attend will be very welcome in church as long as social distancing is observed.

•  Said Eucharists will continue on Thursday mornings at 9.30am and broadcast over Skype.

Please check our website regularly for updates and changes.

We wish you a happy and blessed Christmas and trust that all is and will remain well with you, your families and friends.
